Send email to SignsearchPRO vendors directly through Outlook, Gmail, etc.

We've now made it easy to send email to PRO vendors directly through your local email client (Outlook, Gmail, etc).

To make this global change to your PRO account, click on My Account > Account Info, and select the checkbox labelled "Email Relay".

Custom Negotiated Vendor Rates

We've now provided PRO users with the ability to provide and manage their custom, negotiated hourly rates per vendor in PRO.

As with all other vendor data managed on the vendor profile tabs of PRO Details and PRO Notes, custom vendor rates are only visible to users of the PRO company that provided them - they aren't visible to any other PRO company's users or to the vendors themselves.

Search Filters Just Got Better!

We've now added sub-filters to our "Crane service" and "Bucket or ladder truck service" search results filters, allowing users to filter by the max working height of each piece of equipment in order to meet the requirements of their specific project.

For example, clicking "Crane service" will still show all - and only all - vendors in the search result that have a crane. But selecting the "Crane service" filter now also displays sub filters of max working height. By selecting a specific height users can now restrict their search results to show only vendors that have a crane that can reach the working height they've selected. The same applies to "Bucket or ladder truck service".

Moving Emails to a Project

Let's say you emailed some vendors through PRO without first creating a project. (Creating projects is no longer a requirement in PRO but it's sure still recommended.) Then, after the fact, you decide to actually create your project in PRO (because you realize that there are countless good reasons to do so and it's super easy to do).

We've now provided a way in PRO for you to "move" your emails into this project where you can then easily track all future project related vendor communication.

Awarding a Job Gets Even Easier

We've now made it even easier to award a job in PRO by providing links to do so in both the main PROJECTS view and on the project detail page. Clicking on those links will allow you to quickly and easily award your job to any vendor that's been added to your project's bid queue.

Please remember that awarding a job doesn't send any notifications to the sign vendor. It's for your own internal use only, and only your users see the award notification (icon). You can click on the vendor's profile and identify all of the projects they've done for you and awarding a job also allows you to export the vendor details for use in your internal CRM or accounting software.

Awarding a job in PRO to your selected vendor allows you and your colleagues to easily identify in a search result sign vendors that have previously done work for you. It's invaluable, and now we've made it easier to do!

Single Client / Customer Customizations

PRO is structured on the basic hierarchy of Clients that have one or more physical Locations, each of which can have one or more associated Projects. But a number of PRO's users are those that have a single client. In other words, they aren't a large national sign company servicing many different clients, but rather, they're large multi-location organizations that are using PRO to manage sign vendors for their locations only.

We've now created a view of PRO specifically for these types of users that are their own client per se that speaks only of Locations and Projects.

PRO User Activity Reports

We've now provided PRO Admin users the ability to select a timeframe to see a breakdown of PRO activity - searches performed, profiles viewed, projects created, projects awarded, emails sent, connection requests received and connections made - for each of their users over the selected timeframe. It's a great way to see at a glance how your users are using PRO!

Improved COI Management

We've made COI management even easier! If you provide us with your insurance company and agent details as part of your PRO profile, you can now elect to have all COI expiration reminders and COI renewal request emails sent directly to your agent.

Storage Management Made Easier

Much of a typical PRO user's storage is consumed by emailed attachments. We now make it easier for users to manage their PRO email storage consumption, providing the functionality to filter, sort and multi-select emails to be deleted, as well as providing the option of deleting email attachments only while retaining the actual emails.

New Search Results Filters Added

In response to requests received from our users, we've now added the following 2 new search results filters:

  • Insurance - Aggregate > $1M
  • Insurance - Liability >= $1M

We always strongly encourage all PRO users to apply appropriate filters to their search results to allow them to quickly and confidently find and select the right sign company to meet the requirements of their specific project.

Cross border searching

For searches performed in "border towns" (think Niagara Falls, NY USA or Windsor, ON Canada) PRO initially shows only sign companies from the country of the specific location searched, but we now provide the user with the option to show listings from both the US and Canada. Note that this feature only applies to and will only be made available for searches done in locations that are close enough to the border for it to be relevant.

Google Drive Integration

PRO now allows you to associate projects with project specific file folders that exist in your company's Google Drive account. When logged into your company's Google Drive account, your users will then be able to view those project linked files within PRO, assuming that their Google Drive user permissions allow them to do so.

The reintroduction of the Search tab

Search is back! Now you can quickly perform a search in any geographic area via PRO's reinstated SEARCH tab and we’ll display a comprehensive list of qualified sign vendors, including companies that you’ve worked with before, or are part of your own PRO Network.

The end of project requirement

Although creating a project in PRO takes, literally, 15 seconds, we’ve now removed this as a requirement. While we still highly recommend that all email communication is initiated through a specific project, it’s no longer required. Note, however, that PRO is to be used only for project specific email communication. That is, the email must still reference a specific job (ie “bid opportunity”) for the sign vendor. It must not be used, in any way, to support or maintain your own internal software or database.

Immediate PRO Network connection

Identifying sign vendors that you’ve established as being part of your vendor network has never been easier. Previously, the connection had to be “approved” by the sign vendor, now, with the introduction of this new feature, you simply click to “make the connection”. Refresh the page and you’ll see them identified with the PRO Network icon.

Other Industry Vendors

We've created the ability for PRO users to add their own "other industry" (non sign industry) vendors to PRO, allowing them to find these other industry vendors in a PRO search result and to interact with them through PRO as they would a sign industry vendor.

All "other industry vendors" added by your company automatically become part of your Network in PRO and are private - they can only be found in PRO searches performed by your company's PRO users.

PRO currently allows for the addition of vendors to the following three industries:

  • Building Restoration
  • Electrical
  • Excavating

If you'd like to add vendors to another industry, please let us know and our development team will consider adding that industry as an option for you.

SignsearchPRO Preview for PRO Vendors

PRO Vendors asked, so we delivered!

We now offer PRO vendors a limited preview of PRO that shows them a search result performed in their physical location and allows them to click on their listing only and view their company's PRO profile page as a PRO user would see it.

The preview can be accessed from with myVCG's "SignsearchPRO" section via the new "SignsearchPRO - Preview" button.

Note that other company listings are inaccessible, and most of the PRO features / links that "do" things like send email, add vendors to bid queues, send network invites etc. have been disabled. This is a preview after all. :)

Sort Search Results by Awarded Jobs

Awarding a job in PRO to your selected vendor allows you and your colleagues can easily identify in a search result sign vendors that have previously done work for you.

Additionally, we now offer the ability to move local-to-your-project vendors that have previously been awarded jobs to the top of your search results. It's as easy as selecting to Sort by: Jobs Awarded. This sort by option will show vendors that have been awarded jobs by your company above those that have not, in descending order of the number of jobs that have been awarded (aka highest number of jobs awarded first).

Please remember that awarding a job doesn't send any notifications to the sign vendor. It's for your own internal use, and only your users see the award notification (icon). You can click on the vendor's profile and identify all of the projects they've done for you and awarding a job also allows you to export the vendor details for use in your internal CRM or accounting software.

Link to Download Emailed Attachments

While email communication is the very "lifeblood" of PRO, and many of the emails sent to our PRO vendors necessarily include attached files pertinent to the email / project, the way that each email client - the specific email program receiving those emails and attachments at the recipient or vendor end of things - handles those incoming emails and their attachments is unfortunately completely out of our (PRO's) hands. Bandwidth limitations or file size or file type restrictions at the recipient end can cause problems in the successful delivery of files attached to emails, and it has from time to time been reported that some recipients are receiving email, but not the associated attachments.

To this end, to ensure that vendors always have access to the necessary email attachments we've now made 2 important changes to emails sent by PRO.

  1. Any time that files are attached to an email and the total attachment filesize does not exceed 24MB, in addition to attaching those files to the email itself we will also be including a very noticeable statement at the top of the email that says:

    This email included [x] attachment(s). If you failed to receive one or more of these attachments, please CLICK HERE to download them now.

  2. Any time that files are attached to an email and the total attachment filesize exceeds 24MB, we will not be attaching those files to the email itself but rather we will be including a very noticeable statement at the top of the email that says:

    This email included attachments that were too large to be delivered. Please CLICK HERE to download those attachments.

In each case, the links to download attachments will take the recipient to a secure page where all of the attachments that were included with the original email may be downloaded either individually or as one single compressed file.

Send Email Template Test Emails

Customized email templates are one of the more powerful features in PRO. You can use email templates that contain merge fields and other information that you send out regularly, which will ensure the consistency of your corporate communication. This will help expedite your email process by making this content easily accessible.

We now offer PRO users the ability to send email template test emails to themselves as a means of ensuring that they look as intended.

Wherever an email template can be previewed we've now added a "Send Test Email" section that allows users to send a test of their selected email template to the email address(es) that they specify. Multiple email addresses can be entered, separated by commas.

Ability to CC Others when Sending PRO Emails

We now provide PRO users with the opportunity to CC others on their PRO emails by entering a list of comma separated email addresses.

We still offer the "CC me on this email" checkbox, but we now additionally provide the opportunity for you to enter an unlimited number of email addresses - each separated by a comma - of other recipients that you wish to CC on your email.

Support Access Updates - Auto-Expiration

VCG Support personnel have the ability to provide support access to each of your company's users in order to login as them to provide support services, but only if you choose to allow such access. VCG Support personnel cannot access your PRO instance without your prior authorization.

We've made some changes to the support access settings, such that our access to your PRO instance will now auto-expire once the selected time frame has passed. The options for enabling support access are:

  • 24 hours
  • 72 hours
  • 1 week
  • Indefinitely

You can always choose to disable our access at any time, but now support access can also be automatically scheduled to terminate per the option you select.

Merge Fields Allowed in Email Template Subject Line

We now allow the use of merge fields in email template subject lines, making PRO email templates even more useful and efficient than they were before (and they were pretty great already)!

An example of how you might want to setup an email template with subject line merge fields might be something like the following:

{Client} - {Location}: {ProjectTitle}

which, using fictitious merge data, could then translate to something like the following for your email's subject line:

Buffalo Wild Wings - Westgate Entertainment District: Lights out on sign

While there are a lot of good things to be found in PRO, email templates might just be one of the "good-est", so make sure you're taking full advantage of this time saving, consistency-in-communication-ensuring feature that just got even better!

Receive SMS Text Message Notification of PRO Emails

Don't miss another PRO email! We now offer PRO vendors the option of receiving SMS text message notification each time their company receives an email through PRO from a potential buyer.

To benefit from this feature vendors must opt-in to this service and provide a valid mobile phone number as well as their SMS trigger email(s). Once validated, whenever a SignsearchPRO user sends an email to a vendor's trigger email address an SMS notification will be sent to the vendor at the mobile phone number they've provided.

Multiple Custom Contacts Allowed - Additional Fields Added

The PRO Details tab of a vendor profile page has always afforded PRO users the option of adding and managing custom-to-their-company contact details for each vendor. As with all of the content found on both the PRO Details and the PRO Notes tabs, the information entered here is specific to each PRO company and is private and visible to that company's users only. None of this information is made public, nor is it view-able or manageable by the vendor.

We've now expanded this functionality by adding the optional vendor contact fields of title, extension and mobile phone, and we now also allow multiple custom contacts per vendor.

Project Lead Designation No Longer Required During Import

When importing a new project via data sync or via our UI import feature PRO had previously been requiring a project lead designation. This requirement had at times resulted in some project import failures as the lead user specified would not match that of an existing PRO user. While the inclusion of a project lead user is still recommended, we've now removed it as a requirement for import.

A project will however still require a lead user designation before vendor selected for that project can be rated (by that lead user).

Update to Email Communication

Due to the frequency of PRO users utilizing email templates that asked the recipient to provide their reply within the body of the original email (ex, submitting quotes for specific services), we’ve removed the requirement for the recipient to reply above the email body (the “To reply, PLEASE WRITE ABOVE THIS LINE”). We recognize that, in today’s fast-paced business environment, this requirement was often overlooked, resulting in the possibility of missed communication.

Prior to this change, and in an attempt to keep the email thread clean, only the response from the recipient would be included in the reply. This recent change results in a more traditional email thread, whereby replies will now include all original content (unless the content is removed by the user prior to their reply).

Please note that if the PRO user elects to CC themselves they will continue to receive a copy of their original email, as well as a list of recipients. Should they elect to forward their copy to another recipient, they may wish to remove the recipient list prior to sending the email.

Streamlined New Project Creation

You've probably heard us say that in PRO you can create a new project in less than a minute. Well, now we've even cut that time in half with a significantly streamlined New Project interface. We've combined the process of creating / selecting a client, creating / selecting a location and creating a project on one simplified screen and we've also minimized the number of required fields.

Creating projects in PRO always was easy, but now it's even easier!

Data Sync - Log View Improvements & Import a Missing Project

We've made a couple of improvements to the PRO UI for our data sync users, those users for which data synchronization has been established with their existing CRM / ERP systems to automatically pull Clients (aka Accounts, Customers), Locations (aka Sites) and Projects (aka Jobs) into their PRO instance.

Some of our data sync users choose to schedule their synchronization at frequent intervals, as frequently as every 5 minutes during the business day, which allows them to ensure that new projects created in their CRM / ERP systems are quickly made available to their users in PRO. With such frequent synchronization the log files kept for each sync attempt accumulate quickly, but many attempts result in no new data being imported since nothing new may have been created in their system in the most recent 5 minute interval. We've now added the option within the PRO UI to view synchronization log file details for only those attempts that resulted in either successful or failed imports - so, attempts for which there was activity.

We've also now provided our data sync users that are connected via true API the ability to import a specific project from their systems into PRO. While we've always offered to ability to "retry" a previously failed import, Admin users can now attempt to import any specific missing project - one that was never previously attempted to be imported - by providing that project number and clicking the "Import Specific Project" button within the ADMIN > Data Sync - Logs section of PRO.

Remove a User from All Clients / Projects

We've now provided the ability to remove all clients or all projects from a specific (non admin) user. This can be a useful tool when managing a user that had previously been given access to all clients / projects but now needs to be one that sees only a small subset of clients / projects. They can be removed from all and then added selectively.

Add a User to All Active Clients

We've now provided a button that allows a user to be added to ALL of your company's existing active clients. This can be a useful (dare we say indispensable?) user management tool to those companies that might have hundreds or even thousands of active clients in PRO.

Cloning Email Templates

We got to thinking... if sheep can be cloned, why not allow the cloning of PRO email templates?

PRO email templates that contain information that you send out regularly go a long way to ensure the consistency of your corporate communication as well as to greatly expedite your email process by making this content easily accessible. With this in mind, we now provide the ability for you to easily clone existing email templates - both personal and company (the latter by Admins only) - allowing you to quickly build a full "quiver" of templates to have at your disposal.

New HTML editor provides more flexibility

In response to feedback received from our users we've now upgraded our HTML editor in PRO to allow users much more flexibility in the formatting of their email templates / emails sent through PRO. The new editor is available in PRO for use when creating and editing email templates, composing individual emails, adding a project description, or creating and editing your company's signature.

Tracking code removed from email subject lines

In order for us to be able to display sent and received PRO emails within PRO itself (in addition to having those replies go directly to the user's email client), and to properly link emails to their projects within PRO we need to employ a unique tracking code per email conversation. Previously that code had been included in each email's subject line with subjects appearing as:

[your subject] - {EM-6E22A282-5056-A610-E5B4E095E90DF98A}

for example, with the content in {} making up the tracking portion.

To improve the "readability" of PRO email subject lines and to avoid the possibility of the tracking code being altered / removed and thus "broken" we've now changed our tracking methodology allowing us to remove this tracking code from PRO email subject lines.

Previously, PRO email replies all went to one common reply-to address where a process then queried each email's subject line tracking code to determine who to pass the email on to and where to log it within PRO. Now the tracking and distribution of emails is being accomplished by utilizing a unique reply-to address per email conversation.

For PRO users and vendors nothing changes functionally speaking - to send a response to the actual sender's email address, one must simply "reply" to the email. But PRO email subject lines will now appear exactly as they're submitted by the PRO user, without any appended visible tracking code.

Map My Network

We now allow PRO users to map their entire Network of vendors.

This new feature can greatly aid PRO users in visually identifying geographical areas of weakness in their Network Connections, allowing them to find and invite new local-to-those-areas vendors to fill the gaps.

The feature can also be helpful when searching in remote areas where the typical service radius coverage limitations of vendors can sometimes cause them not to appear in search results. In these situations, PRO users can choose to view their entire existing Network of vendors to identify those vendors in their Network that, while perhaps not appearing within the "remote" location project's service radius' dictated search result, will in fact travel as necessary to assist.

SMS text message notification of PRO email received

We now offer PRO vendors the option of receiving SMS text message notification each time their company receives an email through PRO from a potential buyer.

To benefit from this feature, vendors must login to their account at myVCG.com to opt-in to this service and provide a valid mobile phone number. These details can be managed via myVCG's Account > Users/Contacts section by selecting to Edit the desired user.

Multiple users from the same company can opt-in to this service. All users that are opted-in will receive an SMS text message any time their company receives a PRO email.

Provide PRO vendor with a quick and easy way to respond to bid request email

We've provided a super quick, easy and convenient way for a sign vendor to notify the sender if they'll be providing a quote or response to a bid request. Included at the bottom of every PRO email are two brightly colored "action" buttons. One is a green button that says "Interested - will reply soon", and the other, a red button that says "Not interested". Clicking either button will update the sender as well as flag the response in the PRO email tab.

Allow PRO company to designate a specific vendor email address to use for bid requests

PRO users have the ability to add a specific vendor contact email address via the "PRO Details" tab of that vendor's profile page. (Note / Reminder: All of the information provided on the PRO Details tab are the specific PRO company's details for the vendor. The information provided there is private and visible to each specific PRO company's users only. None of the information is made public, nor is it view-able or manageable by the vendor.)

We now allow the PRO company to select a checkbox to use the specific vendor contact email address that they provide on the PRO Details tab for all emails sent through PRO to this vendor (excluding emails sent to specific contacts) by all of their users.

This is particularly beneficial in situations where a vendor might have a specific person that handles a PRO user's "account", while all other inquiries should perhaps go to a more generic email address

New merge fields including Network Connection Link

We now offer a number of new merge fields to be used in your PRO email templates. The complete list can be found at the learn more link below.

Of special note we now offer a "Network Connection Link" merge link field. This link field will appear in your email as a text link that says "Accept Network Connection" allowing you to include a link inviting recipients to join your company's PRO Network in any email template that you send! The recipient will simply need to click that link in the email that they receive to accept your invitation and join your Network. As such, you may wish to surround this link in your email with some relevant explanatory text.

New project field added - project budget

We've added a new project detail field called "Project Budget". It's an optional field that's made available as an email template merge field.

Providing a project budget amount when you create your project in PRO allows you to easily include this amount as a merge field in all of your bid request template based emails, providing the vendors that you reach out to with the information that they need while saving you the time and effort of having to manually type that amount in every email that you send!

PRO data synchronization - settings and log files

We're more than willing to present any PRO user company with the offer of working with them to create an automated data sync procedure for clients, locations and projects, thus negating the need for any duplicate entry of the same information in both their external system and in PRO.

We've added a new ADMIN > Data Sync - Settings section that allows for the management of data sync connection settings and data sync schedule details.

We've also added a new ADMIN > Data Sync - Logs section. In that section we allow the PRO user to run their data sync "now" (regardless of the schedule that's been established) and we display the results of the 500 most recent synchronization events for the company (scheduled or otherwise). The details of any specific event may be viewed (expanded and collapsed) by clicking the appropriate "View details" link, and any failures may be retried - after first addressing and correcting the reported "Import Failure Reason" for the record within their CRM /ERP system - by clicking the appropriate "retry" link found within the failed record's details.

Management of Network Connection invitations sent / requests received

We now allow Network Connection invitations that have been sent and requests that have been received to be deleted.

All such invitations sent and requests received that are accepted become actual Network Connections, but this new functionality allows PRO users to keep "clean" lists of invitations sent and requests received in the event that a vendor doesn't accept the PRO user's invite or the PRO user doesn't wish to accept a request to connect received from a vendor.

Vendor recipients identified in PRO User's CC version of email

In the CC versions of emails that PRO users receive (by selecting the CC me option when sending an email) we now identify at the bottom of that email who the actual recipient(s) of the email were (i.e. the vendors to whom the email was sent). Each recipient's company name, city and state is displayed. To be clear, the actual recipients of your email, the vendors, do NOT see who else received the email - only you as the sender see all recipients of your email in your CC version.

While emails sent to vendors are always available within PRO itself, this new feature makes it easier for PRO users that prefer to manage PRO related email in their local email client to know who they've communicated with on a particular project.

Custom internal PRO scorecard ratings enhancement

Our PRO Scorecard internal vendor ratings (the blue stars) feature has changed. Whereby we used to offer a single 1-5 whole star per vendor rating per project we now allow PRO companies to create any number of individual ratings criteria that can each be rated 1-5 stars in half star increments to come up with an average 1/2 star rounded up rating per vendor per project.

As with our custom fields feature, any new rating criteria created will immediately become part of that PRO company's available PRO Ratings for all vendors, and they may then at any time go into a specific vendor's profile PRO Details tab and add / update the "value" of that rating criteria per project for that vendor as appropriate.

A PRO company must first add at least one rating criteria before they can internally rate a vendor. If they do not wish to rate vendors by multiple criteria (i.e. timeliness, quality, responsiveness, etc.) they can simply add a single rating criteria of "General", for example.

This internal PRO scorecard ratings enhancement gives our PRO users the ultimate in flexibility when rating their vendors!

Add company logo to email signature

We've added the ability to add your company logo as a merge field to your email signature for your PRO emails allowing your to further customize your PRO experience and add more credibility to your PRO emails.

Ability to CC yourself on a PRO email

While using email in PRO is super easy, we've given you the ability to CC yourself on your PRO email. So you can keep track of your PRO email in the place you live most, your inbox.

Add users to clients in teams

In order to reduce the clutter for the day-to-day PRO user, you can now add users to specific clients in PRO. Allowing them to only see the clients and projects they are working on will make it much easier to find what they are looking for.

PRO email FROM update

We've made a big improvement to PRO email, which will now display who the email is "from" instead of displaying a generic email address. This improvement will help sign vendors better identify when a PRO user has sent a bid request or some other form of PRO email.

Search by vendor ID

We now allow PRO users to search for sign vendors by Vendor ID, a User company's unique identifier for a specific vendor. This search is available in both My Network as well as in the Admin section under the Blacklist menu.

Add users to clients in teams

In order to reduce the clutter for the day-to-day PRO user, you can now add users to specific clients in PRO. Allowing them to only see the clients and projects they are working on will make it much easier to find what they are looking for.

Client, location and project import functionality

PRO Admin users can now import clients, locations and projects data into their PRO account for all account users to access. Keeping all this information in the PRO cloud will help the management of PRO vendors seem effortless.

Project share link

Collaboration is a big part of working in PRO. We've added a "project share link" to your project details page. With one click you can copy the link to your project and share it with other active, logged-in user of your team via email, IM or any other internal communication.

Search clients, locations and projects feature

It's now really easy to find the client, location or project you're looking for with this new search feature. You can search by a number of different options to easily find the information you're looking for. Just another way PRO makes managing your vendor network easier than ever.

Two Factor Authentication (2FA)

We've added Two Factor Authentication (2FA) to SignsearchPRO. 2FA is an extra layer of security that is known as "multi factor authentication" that requires not only a password and username but also something that only that user has in their possession, in our case an SMS (text) message sent to their mobile phone.

To confidently verify your users' identity and protect your company's PRO instance data, enable 2FA for your users.

User ext field result in new email template merge fields

We've added an "ext" field to the user phone number section. We've also included both the "ext" and "mobile" data as email template merge fields, allowoing more detailed user email templates.

Custom fields sorting

You can now organize your vendor's custom fields in any order you wish. This new functionality allows you to drag and drop your custom fields into any order. The order of your custom fields will be consistant for all vendor profiles.

Export vendor details

We've built functionality to allow a PRO user to export vendor details for a vendor that has been awarded a job in PRO. This information can easily be used to update your accounting or CRM system. Just another one of the many advantages of managing your vendors through PRO.

Allow mimic access to VCG Support personnel

PRO account admins now have the abiliy to grant VCG Support personnel "mimic" access to each of a PRO company's users in order to login as them to provide support services. When this access is turned off, only members of your organization can access company information.

Email tab

We've added a new main nav section called EMAIL. This section is split into 3 left tabs of "Your Project Emails", "Your Other Emails" and "Your Deleted Emails". Here we keep a complete back and forth record of all emails sent / received by the user in PRO. They are filterable and sortable lists. When a specific email is clicked on to view its details it can be replied to or forwarded from this view.

It's like an Inbox and a Sent folder combined in that both emails that are sent and those for which replies are received back will appear in the same view (as separate line items).

When an email has been "deleted" it's not really gone, it gets moved to the "Your Deleted Emails" tab. On this tab you choose to restore the email or delete it permanently.

Suspended network connections identified

We've created an identifier within Network Connections that we refer to as "suspended". This as a status that networked vendors are placed in who have expired COI's. Network connected vendors whose COI's expire are automatically suspended and these suspended connections are identified as such in the PRO My Network list and in PRO search result listings. Suspended connections do NOT get filtered out of my network, but are visually identified as being suspended. When a new valid COI is provided, the connection is automatically "un-suspended" and the visual markings are removed.

Auto logout

As a security measure, your SignsearchPRO session will automatically timeout after 30 minutes of inactivity. This security feature is intended to prevent another individual from accessing your personal SignsearchPRO account while your computer is unattended. If you have timed-out of your session, you will be prompted to login again with your email and password.

Please note that it's always considered best practice to log out of SignsearchPRO (and any other login protected service) anytime you expect to be away from the application for any significant period of time.

Project description now available as an email template merge field

When creating email templates, you can now include the project description as a merge field. This will allow you to easily describe your project to potential vendors without a lot of additional typing during the email process.

Display vendor contact info on profile page

You can now see full vendor contact information on the vendor profile page. Previously, in order to see vendor contact information, you either had to have previous email communication through PRO or they must be listed as a vendor on a PRO project. This is no longer the case, making PRO more versatile and user friendly.

Expired additional insured COI indicator

We've updated the appearance of the Network Connection icon within a search result and on the My Network page with an icon ( ), indicating when a vendor's Certificate of Insurance naming your organization as an additional insured has expired. They will still appear in a search result, but will be identified as having an expired COI.

Add additional insured documents

Additional Insured documents are an important part of dealing with vendors. Now, users and vendors alike can add these documents to PRO. They're super simple to add, and they're very convenient.

Add custom fields to vendor's profile

Custom fields allow you to add any custom data to a vendors profile. You can create lists, radio button selectors, check boxes and input fields. These fields will become standard for every vendor profile viewed only by users in your organization.

Certified wrap installer certification

Vendors can now indicate if they have been certified as a wrap installer. Certifications include 3M, Lowen, Fellers, Avery Dennison, and more. To view a vendor's wrap certification, click on the PRO Services tab on the vendor profile.

Project specific internal vendor rating

You now have the ability to internally rate vendors based on a specific project. These internal ratings will only appear for users within your organization and will appear in a search result as well as the vender's profile page.

Add a unique vendor ID to a vendor profile

We've added the ability to assign a unique value (vendor ID) to any vendor profile for your own internal purposes. These vendor ID's can be found on the PRO Details tab of the vendor profile and will only be visible to users in your organization.

Add PRO vendor notes

Add an internal note specific to a vendor on the PRO Notes tab of the vendor profile page. These internal notes will only be visible to users of your organization. You can add as many notes as necessary and any note added will be labeled with the user's name and include a date stamp.

Blacklisting vendors

We've given the ability for company admins to "Blacklist" a vendor profile. Blacklisted profiles will not show up for any user within your organization.

Expanded profile certifications

We've expanded the PRO Services certifications. Now vendors can indicate of they are certified in the following categories: Welding, Engineering and Crane Operator. Click "request info" if the vendor has not provided that information and an email will automatically be sent to the vendor.
